Veritasium is a multi-award winning science education YouTube channel founded in 2010 by Derek Muller. From its origins of man-on-the-street questions on common misconceptions about physics, it's now grown to more than 14.4 million subscribers and 2 billion lifetime views. The channel covers topics ranging from physics and maths to philosophy and engineering, all with the same goal: to dive deeper into topics than anyone else on the internet, making science accessible to anyone
I came on board as Producer after the channel entered into a partnership with Electrify Video Partners. With the goals of growing the team and the content output, I focus on finessing production processes and bringing on new team members while supporting the whole team on the day-to-day running of the channel. I line manage a team of creatives to produce high quality educational content to schedule and liaise directly with brands to execute sponsorships to brief.
Online science education has always been a huge part of my life, especially growing up, and so it is a real joy to work with this incredible team making some of the best content out there.
